Human dignity is the main Ustawi Afrika core value. Dignity as a word with origin from Latin Dignitas means “worthiness”. The good things in life depend on how we safeguard our fundamental dignity.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights recognizes the dignity of all as the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world.

Ustawi Africa aims at restoring human dignity through the eradication of poverty. Absolute poverty deprives individuals and households of basic human needs. The condition does not only arise due to lack of income but inaccessibility to services also contributes.

Integrity is also another core value of Ustawi Afrika. We believe that when we can maintain high standards of integrity as Ustawi Afrika members we will achieve greatness.
